Installation sequence of FTI drum pump

(1) When the complete set of FTI drum pump arrives on site, the motor is already installed. 

When leveling the base, there is no need to remove the drum pump or the motor.  

(2) The foundation plane for installing the drum pump should be leveled using a spirit level. 

After the foundation concrete has cured, install the drum pump on the foundation and check its

 levelness with a spirit level. If it is not level, adjust it using shims until it is perfectly level. Then,

 pour concrete through the grouting holes to secure the base and fill the anchor bolt holes.  

(3) After the cement has cured, check whether the base and anchor bolts are loose. Once confirmed 

to be secure, tighten the nuts of the anchor bolts. Finally, recheck the overall levelness of the unit.

 If there is any slight unevenness, use inclined shims to adjust it.
