DESMI ROTAN gear pump type introduction

The modular design of the ROTAN pump allows a large number of combinations, 

so that the ROTAN pump can meet the specific application.

All ROTAN gear pumps can be provided with built-in safety valves to prevent damage 

caused by overpressure, and most pumps can be equipped with heating/cooling jackets 

on the end cover and shaft seal.

The ROTAN gear pump is a gear pump with an idler and a main rotor meshing.

All standard pumps can convey the medium in both directions, the flow direction is 

determined by the direction of rotation of the motor.

The ROTAN gear pumps of DESMI are divided into 5 main series:

PD: Petrochemical type pumps all wetted parts are made of carbon steel.

HD, CD and PD pumps are mounted on a common base after connection with the motor. 

There are various types of shaft seals, such as: packing seal, single mechanical seal, tandem 

double mechanical seal or back-to-back double mechanical seal.

GP: General purpose pump

The pump head is the same as the HD pump and is directly connected to the flange motor.

There must be a locating bearing at the motor drive end. GP type can use packing seal or single mechanical seal.

ED: Environmentally friendly pump - magnetic drive pump flow parts can be made of cast iron, 

stainless steel or carbon steel. This pump is installed on a common base after connecting with the motor.

HD: Heavy-duty pump all flow parts are made of cast iron and carbon steel.

CD: Chemical pump all flow parts are made of stainless steel.
